Welcome to Tales from Gorilla Girl created by Ann Southcombe, an expert in animal awareness. Her 40 year career working with animals spans a wide range of organizations, zoos, universities, rescue ranches, sanctuaries, and a wildlife rehabilitation center. Her work has been seen on "NOVA", two PBS specials, "The Ape Who Went to College" and "Koko The Gorilla Who Talks". As well as an award winning documentary,  "Gorilla Girl" by Heartisan Films. Her mission is to create a better world for animals through education and understanding. Ann’s memoir and books are packed with fascinating insights into the lives of many of our non-human animal kin.  Providing an expert’s perspective on their behavior and the importance of treating them with compassion and freedom to explore their natural lives.
